My Journey

Having benefitted from the benevolence of kind-hearted people in my formative years as a needy boy in Ghana, I was not surprised that my instincts inspired me to work in the human service industry to reciprocate what benefitted my life success.

My career began as a high school teacher in 2003 but transitioned in late 2004 to take a General Manager's position to lead the implementation of the Ghana National Health Insurance Scheme in a district. After a successful 5-year team leadership in delivering easily accessible and affordable quality healthcare to clients, I was promoted to be a Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer until resettling in the USA in 2011.

The US enhanced my passion in human service career with the opportunity in supporting individuals with diverse disabilities (IDD) live their meaningful happy lives. The field has empowered me with in-depth knowledge, understanding and skills in person-centered support plan (PCP) development, review and reporting. Today, I happily lead and inspire a team as a Program Manager in supporting the IDD.

My skills also help provide consultancy services to small-scale group homes in the design and development of PCPs and reporting, clinical documentation, training modules, employee referrals and training, and policy framework.

The essence of protecting the electronic records and data of the IDD population against crime ignited me to train for professional insights into cybersecurity structures including Information System Security Plan (ISSP) guidelines, Security Assessment Plan (SAP), Security Assessment Report (SAR), Plan of Action & Milestone (POA&M).

In the next five years, I see myself leading a prominent organization that supports precious individuals with IDD live quality lives with treasures of love as integrated community members.
